I am an award-winning filmmaker and creative consultant with an international track record spanning the Arabian Gulf, Canada, Germany and Lebanon. My portfolio of multilingual productions has been showcased at top-tier film festivals and museums, reaching global audiences through worldwide broadcasts.

As a museum consultant, I provide insight and guidance on storytelling, especially multimedia and documentaries, to align narratives within museum collections and accent thematic focuses. My geographic areas of focus are Saudi Arabia and the UAE, with my first large-scale full museum project currently in the pipeline. My feature documentaries have garnered numerous awards, including the prestigious Tribeca Audience Award for "Grandma, a Thousand Times," personally presented to me by Robert De Niro, and a New York Times Critic's Pick. In 2015, I received Esquire Magazine’s Humanitarian Award and secured a spot on the "100 Most Powerful Arabs Under 40" list after the success of "Champ of the Camp," a documentary highlighting a singing competition within the labor camps of the UAE. Notably, my documentation of the aftermath of the Beirut blast in 2020 resulted in "My Family & The Explosion," which premiered on Dutch broadcaster HUMAN Omroep in The Netherlands.

I also dedicate time to mentoring emerging filmmakers for Imagenation Abu Dhabi and the Doha Film Institute. In 2019, I spearheaded the development of TRU Doku, a YouTube/IG documentary channel for youth, streaming on behalf of Germany’s broadcasters ZDFinfo and funk.

I graduated in Film Production from the Mel Oppenheim School of Cinema in Montréal, Canada and hold a Museum Studies certification from Northwestern University. I started my directing career with the widely-acclaimed "Being Osama" for the CBC at the age of twenty-three, following an internship with the National Film Board. Later, I founded Veritas Films in Dubai, successfully managing it for a decade. The company excelled in producing branded content for corporations and governmental offices across the Arabian Gulf, along with my own award-winning creative documentaries.

Beyond my professional achievements, my passions include bel canto, Jivamukti yoga, cycling, and 5Rhythms, which add depth and diversity to my creative journey.
